Embark on a 13-day journey to the base of Mt. Annapurna, the world’s 10th highest peak, and discover the soul of Nepal’s Himalayas. This trek is designed for everyone—from beginners taking their first steps into the mountains to seasoned adventurers seeking new horizons. As you make your way through the Annapurna region, you’ll be immersed in lush rhododendron forests, cross thrilling high-suspension bridges, wander past terraced farmlands, and experience the warmth of Tamang villages steeped in culture and tradition. The trail gradually ascends to 4,130 meters, where panoramic views of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Gangapurna, Hiunchuli, and other majestic peaks await you.

Throughout the trek, you’ll encounter colorful wildlife in the Annapurna Conservation Area, enjoy the cozy hospitality of local teahouses, soak in natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda, and witness sunrises that will stay etched in your memory. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to KTM and drive to Hotel

Namaste and welcome to Nepal, the land of the Himalayas and timeless traditions! Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our friendly Elite Nepal Treks representative will be there to greet you with a warm smile. From the airport, you’ll enjoy a short drive to your hotel in Thamel, the lively heart of Kathmandu, filled with colorful markets, restaurants, and cultural charm.
After check-in, you may take some time to relax from your journey. If time permits, you can explore the bustling streets of Thamel in the evening or simply unwind at your hotel.
In the evening, we invite you to enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner accompanied by live folk music and dance, offering a glimpse into Nepal’s rich cultural heritage and setting the tone for the adventure that awaits.

Day 2: Flight from KTM to Pokhara(827m)

After breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive to Pokhara, Nepal’s enchanting “City of Lakes” and a popular holiday destination. The journey takes about 6–7 hours, covering 200 km along the picturesque Prithvi Highway.
As we leave Kathmandu behind, the road meanders through lush green hills, terraced farmlands, and charming roadside villages. For much of the journey, the highway follows the Trishuli River, famous for white-water rafting and adventure sports, before eventually trailing alongside the Marshyangdi and Seti rivers. On clear days, you may catch glimpses of the Manaslu and Annapurna ranges in the distance, adding to the beauty of the drive.
We will make stops along the way at authentic local restaurants, giving you the chance to enjoy fresh Nepali meals and refreshments. Passing through bustling towns such as Mugling, Abukhaireni, and Dumre, the drive offers a glimpse into Nepal’s diverse landscapes and daily life.
Upon arrival in Pokhara by late afternoon, you will check into your hotel and have time to relax. If time permits, we can take a leisurely evening stroll along Phewa Lake, where the reflection of the Annapurna Himalayas shimmers across the water—an unforgettable introduction to Pokhara’s charm.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri(1960m)

After breakfast, we drive for about 1.5 hours to Nayapul, the gateway to the Annapurna region. From here, our trek begins along the scenic Modi Khola River, passing charming villages like Birethanti and Hille. The trail gradually ascends through terraced fields and rhododendron forests.
The final stretch is a challenging but rewarding climb of 3,000 stone steps leading up to Ulleri, a traditional Gurung settlement. From here, enjoy panoramic views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. Overnight at a teahouse in Ulleri.

Day 4: Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani(2840m)

Today’s trek takes you through lush oak and rhododendron forests, a signature of the Annapurna region. In spring, these hillsides burst into a sea of red and pink rhododendron blossoms. The cool mountain breeze and birdsong make this a refreshing hike.

Day 5: In morning hike to Poon Hill(3210m) and trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650m)

An early morning hike to Poon Hill rewards you with one of the most breathtaking Himalayan sunrises. As the first rays touch the snow peaks, the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges glow golden, leaving a memory you’ll never forget.
After soaking in the views, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue our trek toward Tadapani. The trail winds through dense forests and ridges, offering constant glimpses of the towering peaks. Overnight at a teahouse in Tadapani.

Day 6: Trek from Tadapani to Sinuwa(2360m)

Leaving Tadapani, the trail descends through beautiful forests to Chhomrong, a large Gurung village offering spectacular views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). After lunch, we descend steeply and then climb up again to reach Sinuwa, perched above the Modi Khola Valley. Overnight at a teahouse in Sinuwa.

Day 7: Trek from Sinuwa to Himalayan(2920m)

Today’s trek leads deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trail winds through bamboo and rhododendron forests, gradually climbing higher with the sound of the river rushing below. The air becomes cooler as we ascend, and the vegetation starts to thin.
By evening, we arrive at Himalaya, a small settlement surrounded by towering cliffs and lush forests. Overnight at a teahouse in Himalaya.

Day 8: Trek from Himalayan to Annapurna Base Camp(4130m) via Machhepuchree Base Camp (MBC) (3700m)

A thrilling day awaits as we make our way to the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trail first climbs to Deurali and then to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), where stunning views of the sacred Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak dominate the skyline.
From MBC, the trail continues gradually upward to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at 4,130m. Surrounded by towering Himalayan giants—Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Gangapurna—the amphitheater -like setting is inspiring. Overnight stay at a teahouse in ABC.

Day 9: Exploring Annapurna and Machhapuchhre scenic view and trek back to Sinuwa (2360m)

Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas—a highlight of the entire journey. The snowy peaks glow in shades of orange and gold, creating an unforgettable moment.
After breakfast at ABC, we retrace our steps down the valley, passing through MBC, Deurali, and Bamboo before reaching Sinuwa for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Trek from Sinuwa(2360m) to Jhinu (1760m) and enjoy the Hot spring

From Sinuwa, the trail descends back to Chhomrong before continuing downhill to Jhinu Danda, a village famous for its natural hot springs. After checking into your lodge, you can take a short walk to the riverside hot springs and soak in the warm mineral rich waters a perfect way to relax after days of trekking. Overnight at a teahouse in Jhinu.

Day 11: Drive from Jhinu to Pokhara in private jeep

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the trails. A private jeep will pick us up from Jhinu and drive us back to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the comforts of city life again. You may spend the evening strolling around Lakeside Pokhara, soaking in the laid-back atmosphere. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12: Flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu and summarize the trek having wonderful dinner

This morning, we take a short scenic flight back to Kathmandu, offering one last glimpse of the majestic Himalayas from above. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is free for shopping, exploring, or relaxing.
In the evening, we gather for a farewell dinner with cultural performances, celebrating the success of your Annapurna Base Camp adventure. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Transfer to International airport for your flight

Your journey in Nepal comes to an end today. After breakfast, our team will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight home. We bid you farewell with warm memories, hoping to welcome you again for another adventure with Elite Nepal Treks.
